The ECS Tennis Academy works in partnership with coaches at renowned Tennis Avenue Academy in New Malden as well as with 2017 LTA Surrey Coach of the Year Grant Fellows, to deliver a bespoke year round tennis programme (including during the school holidays) for pupils aged 11 – 18 years of age at Ewell Castle School who are club/county standard or better.  It also supports applications for tennis scholarships to U.S. universities and did so for former Ewell Castle School Tennis Scholar Srdan Pejic who is now studying at Union, New York State (one of the top universities in the United States) on a full scholarship.

Ewell Castle School Tennis Academy offers two tennis programmes.  One is aimed at pupils aged 7-11, is run in partnership with Tennis Avenue Academy New Malden and offers; specialist training each week consisting of technical work, tactics and match play as well as strength and conditioning work.  Pupils are also given individual targets and goal setting and offered full tournament planning and support.  The other programme is run in partnership with Grant Fellows at Cranleigh LTC and is for Ewell Castle School Sixth Form pupils.  This programme provides term-time training consisting of technical work, tactics and match play, strength and conditioning sessions and mentoring by Grant Fellows.  The tennis programme at Tennis Avenue Academy in New Malden is one of the largest and most successful in the country. It boasts many players who are currently ranked nationally in the top 10 for their ages.

Pupils who join the Ewell Castle School Tennis Academy programme will be full members of the School community. They will all follow the core academic subjects of English, Mathematics and Science but will then have some flexibility to drop some other subjects in order to free up time to train. The actual curriculum arrangement will be bespoke to the individual in consultation with parents and coaching staff.
