Our dedicated and experienced staff continue to deliver high quality learning for all our Sixth Form students.  Students follow their usual School timetable with lessons delivered via Microsoft Teams.  Every lesson includes a live interactive element, although for some of the lesson students are expected to work independently and then submit their work.  Homework continues to be set and uploaded on Satchel One/Show My Homework.

Whilst we would of course prefer to be in School, our expert staff continue to ensure that online lessons are engaging and interactive.  Lessons can include live teaching, pre-recorded tutorials, feedback sessions, quizzes, group tasks, PowerPoint presentations and face-to-face video conferencing. 



Our Pastoral Team which includes the School Counsellor, ELSA, and School Chaplin, provide wellbeing and pastoral support to all our students.  Their various initiatives and channels of support help to ensure that student personal wellbeing is not being negatively impacted.  All Sixth Form students have informal online Form time once a week so friends can see each-other and their Form Teacher, and there is also a weekly year group assembly delivered by their Head of Year, usually focussing on a particular theme.  These year group assemblies have included stretch and flow yoga, mindfulness, and cookery lessons.  Additionally, the three Heads of House each deliver a pre-recorded assembly once every half-term which are informative as well as fun and there are ad-hoc assemblies by the Principal and or the Deputy Heads Academic and Pastoral.  During Children’s Mental Health Week, members of the Pastoral Team curated helpful materials as well as assemblies and video presentations for students and their families.



Our PE and Games staff continue to provide weekly Games lessons because we want to ensure our students not only keep up with their academic studies but that they enjoy positive mental and physical health.
