The aim of the PTA

Whether you join Ewell Castle School as a parent or member of staff, you are automatically a member of the PTA. The aim of the PTA is to organise social events and fund-raising activities for the purpose of creating a "Ewell Castle School Community" involving children, families and staff from our three School sites – Chessington Lodge, Glyn House and The Castle.

We are a parent-led association, with involvement from various members of staff who provide experience and knowledge of the School. We hold meetings once a term to discuss and decide upon upcoming events – some of which include a hugely popular Summer Ball, Christmas Fair, and our not to be missed annual Fireworks Night. We also support the events at the beginning of the academic year to welcome new families to the School.

What we have raised money for

The PTA provided a large contribution towards the funding of the new School minibus, sports equipment, DT equipment and outdoor furniture (including table tennis tables and friendship benches) at The Castle, Glyn House and Chessington Lodge. We have also been able to support the School by making a contribution towards the cost of a 3D Laser Printer for the DT Department. Help us raise even more funds this year so we can purchase additional equipment and items that will immediately benefit all the children at the School. 

How we work

We hold an AGM every year and anyone is welcome to come along. Our fundraising and social events rely on the support of parents and we are always grateful for a fresh pair of eyes and new ideas. We hope you and your children will enjoy everything on offer at Ewell Castle, and we count on your support to make our events a success, for the benefit of all the children at the School. If you can spare even a small amount of time, we would love to hear from you at as there are many other ways to get involved – for example to help organise and manage our events.
We will keep you updated on forthcoming events via the Parent Portal, Classlist and via our Facebook and Twitter pages (@EwellCastlePSFA).  Just email us your suggestions, and let us know what events you are able to help with. We look forward to seeing you throughout the year!    

PTA New to You Uniform Shop

If you have any unwanted items of logo’d School uniform from SchoolBlazer, we would be very happy to sell it in our uniform shop. We are unable to accept non logo’d items - grey trousers, white shirts/blouses and checked summer dresses. The PTA reserve the right to reduce/reject/dispose of logo’d items in poor condition (ie broken zip, faded, not washed, altered etc).
Please email if you need further information or are looking for something in particular and we aim to provide you with a response within 2 weeks.
Please be advised: As all sale proceeds are immediately passed to the donating parent after a sale is made we are unable to refund/exchange items.
