2024 A-level and BTEC Results

Ewell Castle School proudly congratulates all of our students on achieving excellent A-level and BTEC examination results this year. These wonderful achievements reflect the determination and dedication of our students, who embody the School’s commitment to inspiring both academic excellence and character development, supported by our passionate and dedicated community of ambitious families and accomplished staff.

·       This year, 28% of all A-level grades were A*-A, with 56% A*-B, 85% A*-C and a 100% pass rate. 

·       BTEC results were 100% Distinction or Distinction Star, all of which means that students achieved an average of 115 UCAS points each.

As we celebrate these impressive accomplishments, Ewell Castle School remains committed to providing an environment where every student can thrive, develop their unique talents, and prepare for a bright future.

Harrison McLean is our overall top performing A-level student this year, achieving A*A*A*B, and he will be reading Computer Science at Oriel College, University of Oxford.  

We would also like to share the following admirable and noteworthy results:

·       Ben Crockford (A*A*A) will be reading Chemistry at the University of Bristol

·       Alexander Markou (A*A*A) will be reading Politics and International Relations at the University of Exeter

·       Zachary Fox (A*A*AB) will be reading Mathematics and Physics at the University of Warwick

·       Callum Danks (A*A*B) will be reading History and Ancient History at the University of Exeter

·       Oliver Folloy-Marsh, Tommy Forbes, Raihan Jiwa and James Ralph all achieved a grade profile of AAA 

In Russian, 100% of students achieved an A* grade; in Drama, Further Mathematics and Spanish, 100% of students attained grades A*-A; in Design & Technology, Music and Religious Studies, 100% of students attained grades A*-B.

Mr Silas Edmonds (Principal) reflected: 

I am delighted that our Class of 2024 has once again set a standard of excellence in realising their academic potential at A-level and BTEC. Our students are an inspiration to everyone at The Castle for what can be achieved when our young people are engage harmoniously with our motivational and inspiring staff, with the indispensable support of their families. I warmly congratulate them all and I look forward to hearing numerous success stories as they embark on their next chapter at top university and Degree Apprenticeship courses.
