It is another successful year for Ewell Castle School and its 43 Year 13 students, with a 99% pass rate at A Level and many of our students achieving their first choice university. 76% of all A Level grades were A* - C, this being an 8% increase on the previous year. 46% of A Level grades were A* - B with the % of A* to A trebling over the last year.
The outstanding performances were from William Hadley who achieved A*, A*, A*, a (AS) and has been offered a place at Sommerville College Oxford to read Chemistry as well as Head Girl Margot Hiza who achieved A, A, A, and has an offer to study medicine at the University of St Andrews.
Other students who have achieved particularly high grades include; Charlie Sumeray with A, A, B, b (AS) who will be going to the University of Exeter to study Renewable Energy and Engineering and the following students all with A, A, B; Dawood Bush who has offers from London School of Economics and Ernst & Young, Chloe Haycock who has been offered a place at Laine Theatre Arts to study Musical Theatre and Shamil Jeeawoody who will be studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Sussex. We are all delighted to report that Edward Smith has been accepted at the prestigious Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to study Music Performance.

The overall 2018 Ewell Castle School A Level grades are superb, in fact the best in recent years. Many of our students have exceeded their predicted grades and I applaud their hard work and thank our dedicated staff for the support they have provided in achieving these fantastic results.”
