In the Summer Term of 2015, Ewell Castle School pupils submitted their work for the Young Writers' 'Grim Tales' mini saga competition - imaginative writing with the added challenge of a 100 word limit. Work which was selected for publication was based on imagination, perception, expression and creative use of language and will be published in 'Grim Tales - Across the Globe' in January. Two of our Senior School staff spent two weeks in Lesotho, Southern Africa over the summer holidays, on a charity project which supports children who are having to raise their own sibblings because their parents are either too sick or have died from AIDS. Watch their video. http://bit.ly/1FoYWO2

Congratulations to Louis who rowed 40 miles on Saturday with the junior squad in aid of a community project for Molesey Boat Club. The club is raising money to build the first indoor rowing centre which will be accessible to schools, community groups and the club. The juniors have raised over £5k so far. He sported the ECS cap throughout!

We welcomed many former pupils and staff back to Ewell Castle School during the weekend, for our annual summer reunion. All students automatically become members once they leave the School in Years 11 to 13 and as long as they provide a contact email address, the School can invite them to attend numerous networking events and reunions.

Parents, grandparents and friends are welcome to visit Southwark Cathedral Wednesday 8th July to support our talented Chapel Choir as they perform an Evensong Service. The service starts at 5.30pm and is due to finish at 6.15pm.
