The Music Pavilion building project begun in earnest over the summer holidays and is very much under way.
However, we still need to raise funds towards the Music Pavilion and the fundraising appeal continues. We will be introducing a number of initiatives this autumn which we hope that our School community of current pupils, parents and staff, along with former pupils and staff will support.

Sasha Vesovic received the exciting news that he has been offered a place to read History at Magdalen College Oxford. Mr Harris commented, "Sasha's news is truly marvelous and is the icing on the cake on what have been wonderful GCSE and A Level results for Ewell Castle School this year."

Ewell Castle School pupils received excellent results with 21% of all the GCSE examinations stat being A* or A grades. 88% of candidates achieved 5 A*-C and 82% achieved 5A*-C including Mathematics and English. Particularly pleasing were the excellent results in Geography, ICT and Art. Top GCSE performers this year were:

It is another successful year for Ewell Castle School, with over 60% of our students leaving for Higher Education gaining places at their first choice universities at this stage, with some universities yet to make a decision. Nearly 15% of exams taken gained the top grades of A* - A, with almost two thirds of grades being A* - C. Congratulations to all our A Level students, we wish you every success…

What a fantastic concert in the incredible La Madeleine church in Paris. It has been a wonderful Chapel Choir and Modern Foreign Languages Tour to Paris. Pupils and staff will never forget it.

Thank you to The Children's Trust for inviting us to their School's Recognition Day yesterday. Four of our Senior School pupils from the Charitable Works Committee represented the School and spent a very enjoyable afternoon with staff and pupils there.

The Chessington Lodge Choir raised £171.05 in 40 minutes at the Ashley Centre today for the Epsom Medical Equipment Fund, What a fantastic effort.
