To apply for a place at Ewell Castle School for your child, you will need to complete an application form, return this to The Admissions Department and pay £150.00 registration fee.  The £150.00 registration fee can be paid via electronic bank transfer only - bank details and the application form are available under the Fees, Finance & Catering tab of the Admissions section on the website.

Existing Ewell Castle School pupils are not required to submit an application form when transfering from the Preparatory School to the Senior School. The same applies to our Year 11 pupils applying for a place in our Sixth Form.

Registration fee and waiting lists

All applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable registration fee.  When applying for a place in a Year that is currently full (Admissions will advise you of this) and which has no current available spaces, the registration fee ensures that the child is placed onto a waiting list.

Educational Needs and Access Arrangements

All applications must include information and documents on Educational Needs and additional access arrangements, for any child applying for a place at Ewell Castle School at the time of registering and not after.  Failure to disclose and provide any Educational Needs, Educational Psychologists Reports, Assessment Reports or Access Arrangements upfront, for any child applying for a place at Ewell Castle School, may result in the invitation to the assessment day and/or the offer of a place at Ewell Castle School being withdrawn.

It is the responsibility of parents/guardians (and not Ewell Castle School) to contact the child's current school, and request that information on access arrangements for that child are emailed to them in good time, so that the parents/guardians can upload all necessary documents as part of the Ewell Castle online application process. This information should be in a signed letter on that school’s headed paper (usually from the SENCO, Head or Deputy Head, confirming arrangements and why they have been awarded).  Educational Psychologists Reports and Assessment Reports (if appropriate) will also need to be uploaded as part of the online application process.

It can sometimes take schools a little time to prepare and send parents these documents, so we would advise parents/guardians to allow plenty of time for this, and to ensure they have everything they need ready, at the time of completing and submitting the Ewell Castle application form, and in advance of our application deadlines.

Ewell Castle School reserves the right to contact your child's current school, to confirm your child's current access arrangements and normal way of working.  Ewell Castle School will be unable to provide access arrangements during its assessment day (and thereafter, should the pupil receive an offer to attend Ewell Castle School) to any pupil for whom it has not received the relevant additional access arrangements and/or Educational Needs documentation in advance.

For further admissions queries please contact the Admissions Department at admissions@ewellcastle.co.uk who will be happy to assist you.
