Preparatory School Library
Each Preparatory School class has a weekly Library session, during which the children may change their School Library books, read and undertake some Library related quizzes and activities. The Library is open during the school day and the children can use the library at any time with the permission of a teacher to look up information or to get a reading book. The Preparatory School Library is at Glyn House and is managed by Mrs Fisher and she is on hand to help the children with any library related queries.
Senior School Library
The Senior School library, managed by Mrs Malost, is situated on the first floor of the Castle building. The library area comprises two study rooms together with a computer suite. All the rooms have network points and Wi-Fi is available. The pupils also have access to printing facilities.
The library is open from 8:30 until 17:00 Monday to Friday. The aim of the library is to provide a supervised, quiet and safe area for all pupils. Lower school pupils may use the library during break, lunch time and after school. The library is open to the Sixth Form all day for private study.
The resources are available for loan to students and staff. It is important that stock selection reflects and supports the curriculum but suggestions regarding the purchasing of stock will always be considered.
Both the Preparatory School and the Senior School Libraries are equipped with a good range and selection of books and reference materials. Should students require additional books, these can be requested and ordered by the School.
