Ewell Castle School 2018 GCSE Results
Ewell Castle School is delighted to announce that 93% of its pupils taking GCSEs this year achieved A*- C and 9 - 4 grades. Furthermore an impressive 96% pupils achieved at least 5 A* to C or 9 to 4, including English and Mathematics.
Top GCSE performers this year were Jamie Campbell and Dilan Jayasena.

Ewell Castle School A Level Results and offers include University of Oxford and Medicine at the University of St Andrews
It is another successful year for Ewell Castle School and its 43 Year 13 students, with a 99% pass rate at A Level and many of our students achieving their first choice university. 76% of all A Level grades were A* - C, this being an 8% increase on the previous year. 46% of A Level grades were A* - B with the % of A* to A trebling over the last year.
The outstanding performances were from William Hadley who achieved A*, A*, A*, a (AS) and has been offered a place at Sommerville College Oxford to read Chemistry as well as Head Girl Margot Hiza who achieved A, A, A, and has an offer to study medicine at the University of St Andrews.
Other students who have achieved particularly high grades include; Charlie Sumeray with A, A, B, b (AS) who will be going to the University of Exeter to study Renewable Energy and Engineering and the following students all with A, A, B; Dawood Bush who has offers from London School of Economics and Ernst & Young, Chloe Haycock who has been offered a place at Laine Theatre Arts to study Musical Theatre and Shamil Jeeawoody who will be studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Bath. We are all delighted to report that Edward Smith has been accepted at the prestigious Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to study Music Performance.

Ewell Castle School GCSE Results - 2017
Ewell Castle School is delighted to announce that 89% of its pupils taking GCSEs this year achieved A*-C and 9 - 4 grades. Furthermore 92% of Ewell Castle School Year 11 pupils gained 5 or more A*- C or 9 - 4 grades and the majority of our pupils secured the necessary grades to go on to study the A Levels of their choice.
The outstanding performances were from; Weixiang (Jackie) Luo who achieved 7A*s, 2As, 9, 8 and 5 followed closely by Oliver Carter who achieved 6A*s, 1A, 2Bs, 9, 7 and 6, Joseph Carter who achieved 2A*s, 5As, 1B, 1C, 8, 8 and 7 along with Dominic Hutton who achieved 1A*, 7As, 8, 8, and 8.

Ewell Castle School A Level Results - 2017
It is another successful year for Ewell Castle School, with a 98% pass rate at A Level and many of our students achieving their first choice university. 68% of A Level exams taken gained A* - C and this was a 5% increase on the previous year. The UCAS average points per candidate was 241.
The outstanding performance was from Olin Robinson who achieved two A*'s an A and two A's at AS Level. He will be studying Physics with Theoretical Physics at top Russell Group University Imperial College London. Other students who did very well include Josh Conyers who achieved an A* and two B's at A Level, Jacob Malpas who has a place at UCL to study History, Giorgio Benvenuti who is studying Architecture at Southbank University, Rheanna Cottam has a place at Southampton University to study Criminology, Johua Miller has a place at Greenwich University to study Hospitality Management, Toby Harrison and Eshen Patel have places to study Sport Business Management at Winchester University, Milan Andesilic has a place at Sussex to study Mechanical Engineering, Keith Marange has a place at Liverpool University and Michael Slavin has a place to study English at Surrey University.
Congratulations to those students mentioned along with all the others, who at the time of writing were finalising offers at a number of universities.
Ewell Castle School GCSE Results - 2016
Ewell Castle School pupils received excellent results with 21% of all the GCSE examinations sat being A* or A grades. 88% of candidates achieved 5 A*-C and 82% achieved 5A*-C including Mathematics and English. Particularly pleasing were the excellent results in Geography, ICT and Art. Top GCSE performers this year were: Paul Heffernan = 7A* (including A^ Further Mathematics IGCSE, this is a grade above an A*, representing the top 3% of candidates who achieved an A or above in this subject, which is an outstanding achievement), 3A, 1B. Brandon Hammond = 7A*, 2A and 2B and Charles Sumeray = 4A*, 5A, 2B.
Ewell Castle School GCSE Results - 2015
Ewell Castle School pupils received excellent results that exceeded expectations today, with 22% of all the examinations sat being A* or A grades. The percentage of pupils who achieved the benchmark 5 A* to C grades is 86.4% and 83.3% of candidates achieved 5 A*-C including Maths and English. Particularly pleasing were the excellent results in foreign languages, where half of the candidates gained A or A* grades. Top performers were: Daniel Straw with 5A*s, 5As and 2Bs Olin Robinson with 5A*s, 5As and 1B and Millind Uppal with 5A*s, 4As and 3Bs.
Ewell Castle School A Level Results - 2016
It has been another successful year for Ewell Castle School, with over 60% of our students leaving for Higher Education gaining places at their first choice universities at this stage, with some universities yet to make a decision. 15% of exams taken gained the top grades of A* - A, with almost two thirds of grades being A* - C. Notable performances include Jacob Malpas who achieved an A*, two A grades and a B grade at AS. Jake will be studying Business and Management at the University of Exeter. Sasha Vesovic is reading History at Magdalen College, Oxford and Georgia Heggs is reading Political Science at Birmingham.
Ewell Castle School A Level Results - 2015
We are pleased to see a continued improvement in A Level results this year with 71.4% of examinations sat being A* - C, up from 62% last year. With an overall pass rate of 98.2% UCAS points per candidate of 277 and 21.5% of results being A* or A grades, our students can be rightly proud of their achievements.
Notable performances include Oliver Higgs with A*, A*, A at A Level and a C at AS Level, Tom Evans with A*, A* A at A Level and a B at AS Level and Jack Hazell with A*, A, A at A Level and an A at AS Level. Oliver is going to study Physics at the University of Surrey, Tom will take up a place at the University of Warwick to study Mathematics and Jack is taking the highly competitive and prestigious course in Model-Making at the Arts University in Bournemouth.
For those students who decided to apply to university this year (84% of the Upper Sixth) the majority achieved their first choice of university, although some students applied through the adjustment or clearing processes.
Most of our Year 13 students are offered places at their first choice university or college, with many of our A Level students regularly achieving places at Russell Group universities.
