The Music Department is situated in Glyn House which can be found on the opposite side of the street to the Castle. It occupies the basement corridor and all academic lessons, rehearsals and peripatetic lessons take place there. School concerts are performed in the Main Hall at the Castle.

Lower School Recital
Thursday 27th May, 7.30 p.m. (Main Hall)


Students in Years 7-9 have the opportunity to perform solo numbers to an audience in a more formal concert setting. In addition, there will also be performances by the School Orchestra, the Concert Band, the Guitar Ensemble and the Percussion Group. Tickets on sale from the School Office shortly.

Summer Evening

Wednesday 30th June, 6pm

Let's pray for good weather this year! Come and celebrate an evening of fun and amusement in the form of musical entertainment, drama sketches, an art exhibition, various games and outdoor activities including croquet, tug-of-war, a 'White Elephant' stall and a food buffet / BBQ. Music ensembles performing include the Big Band, Percussion Ensemble, School Orchestra, Concert Band and the Soul Band. Tickets will be on sale after half term.
