The Music Department is situated in Glyn House which can be found on the opposite side of the street to the Castle. It occupies the basement corridor and all academic lessons, rehearsals and peripatetic lessons take place there. School concerts are performed in the Main Hall at the Castle.

Upper School Recital

Thursday 13th October, 7.30pm (Main Hall)

GCSE and A-Level musicians will be performing solo numbers in preparation for their performance modules. Performances will also be given by the School Orchestra and the Jazz Band. Tickets on sale from the School Office shortly.

Lower School Recital

Thursday 1st Dec, 7.30pm (Main Hall)

Students in Years 7-9 have the opportunity to perform solo numbers to an audience in a more formal concert setting. In addition, there will also be performances by the School Orchestra, the Concert Band, the Guitar Ensemble and the Year 7 Choir. Tickets on sale from the School Office after half term.

WASSAIL

Wed 7th and Thurs 8th December, 7pm (Main Hall)

The highly anticipated bi-annual Wassail production will showcasing all things Christmassy! The evening promises to supply fun, frivolity and festivity through various musical numbers and comedy drama sketches. Tickets always sell out quickly for both nights so buy yours asap!!
