The German Deparment offers a wide and varied programme of study, starting in Year 8, allowing students to gain a secure grasp of the language and basic understanding of aspects of grammar should they choose to take it at GCSE level. Currently there are 18 students who take German for GCSE and AS and A2 Level are also offered. In addition, the Langauages Department offer trips to France and Germany.
