Drama is taught in all form groups at Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9, age 11-13 years). The subject is an option subject then at GCSE (KS4) and at AS/A level.
Recent productions include The Miser, The Front Page and Whodunnit!. The school was well represented at the Leatherhead Drama Festival last year and joint 'musical' venture with Greenacre School of Disco Inferno and Fame have been enjoyed in the recent past.
In addition to the formal productions identified above, evenings of words & music, musicals, Arts Week productions and a Wassail are regularly scheduled. Drama Club is well established. The close-knit nature of the school makes whole school productions true to the word, and provide wonderful experiences for a large proportion of our number pupils and staff. Theatre visits are also scheduled.
Group size are on average seventeen at KS3/4 and typically 6 at A/AS level. Students are entered for AQA exams at GCSE and Edexcel at AS/A level.
The faculty enjoys the use of two halls for performance/practice space and a drama studio.
